Free Music Notes for Saving AbelFree Music Review: They could'nt find the model a shirt? Hit: 2 Stars
Just think, somewhere a father is saying to his daughter. "Youre going to a concert where they say what in the lyrics?" As he shakes his head.
Free Music Review: Aweful. Just.. Aweful. Hit: 1 Stars
In the 90's, music on rock radio included bands like Rage Against the Machine, Alice in Chains, and Tool, with melodic sound, instrumental talent and poetic lyrics like "One great big festering neon distraction/ I've a suggestion to keep you all occupied:/ Learn to swim" The radio now is contaminated with bands such as Hollywood Undead, Theory of a Dead Man, and Saving Abel. With a sound more glossy than most pop songs on the radio in the 90's, stale riffs and cliched lyrics sounding to have been written by a fourteen-year-old. "i'm so addicted to/ all the things you do/ when you're going down on me/ in between the sheets/ all the sounds you make/ with every breath you take/ its unlike anything/ when you're lovin' me"
i listen and cringe with an overwhelming disgust in my stomach paralleling that of a tapeworm or a parasitic worm of some sort, that's growing too large to live in my intestinal tracks any longer.
I beg anyone who enjoys this album to try out bands like Tool, Sublime, Led Zeppelin, Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Pink Floyd, even System of a Down.
Music with actual substance, poetry, and melody; instead of a catchy chorus
that any boy going through puberty could write. I didnt know you could water down Buckcherry and make it even worse
Free Music Review: Here we go again... Hit: 1 Stars
First of all ... another album with TERRIBLE, TACKY cover art. Really does not give you a good impression before you even hear a note of it.
Saving Abel is just another in the long line of formulaic arena rock bands (see also: Nickelback, Hinder, Daughtry, 3 Doors Down) that got signed because, sadly, this is the sound of the moment. Everything that you'll hear on this album, you've already heard hundreds of times before. But that's alright - bands like this will be playing the county fair circuit about 5 years from now, since they're nothing more than radio schlock also-rans. They'll have their hit single or two, go out on tour with some buffoon like Kid Rock, and vanish shortly thereafter.
This decade is going down as one of the worst for music in a long, long time. Bands like this are only reinforcing my viewpoint on this. Generic, cliched, and polished to a fault, Saving Abel are the antithesis of what rock music is really about. I would instead recommend something chock full of brash attitude like The Hives, or Radiohead who continue to put out albums that are head and shoulders beyond tripe like this.
Free Music Review: Sucks, Nothing Original! Hit: 1 Stars
This band has obviously ripped off Steroside, and they aren't hiding it. Everything from the album cover to the song titles and the songs themselves. If you are thinking of buying this album here's a tip: check out Steroside's album, "So Long". And here's a tip to Saving Abel: you're not fooling anyone.
Free Music Review: Buy Fozzy Hit: 1 Stars
FOzzy blows this out of the That Remains Reloaded is a similar vibe, but far more original with better hooks.
