If you're into metal and you never heard Saxon, you need this album in your collection NOW! This was my first exposure to the band, and with the extra tracks that weren't included on the original 1982 album (and one being "Dallas, 1 PM") you really need to check this out.
I can hem and haw about how Saxon never got their just desserts. Whatever. This album shows a great rock and roll band who wrote songs about the road, or whatever whim Biff Byford had on his mind.
Other than the great music on this album, my favorite part is the in-between song banter and conversations he has with the crowds ("You're not getting tired, are ya?" CROWD: Biff: "There's 40-thousand watts here, you know that, don'tcha?"), especially calling out to the balcony and pitting the floor vs. the balcony in the sing-along section of "Wheels of Steel". Awesome.
