I've heard some of Saxon's albums back in the 80-s. This one stands out as probably the best of the best. The vocals and instrumental arrangements sound more powerful than on Iron Maiden recent releases.
Most of the songs are very well crafted. Definitely a great achievement from a great band. Too bad these guys never got due recognition in the US.
On this CD they proved again they can really rock!

If your a fan of Saxon add this to your cd collection. It's a cd/dvd combo. The clarity of the dvd is amazing. It's just like you are front row at the show. Under rated band to say the least. They rock hard for sure. Saxon is like Motorhead to me. I don't think either band has a bad album !!Free Music Review: The Inner Sanctum
