You don't have to see the film to appreciate the soundtrack.
This soundtrack has a wide variety of musical types and tempos -- mainly music popular in the '50's and early '60's, including a hilarious track featuring Peter Sellers (of the original Pink Panther film series) and Sofia Loren singing "Goodness, Gracious, Me" -- there's something for almost every taste.
I had this soundtrack on cassette tape years ago and wore it out to the point it wouldn't play any more, so I was delighted to find it re-released on CD :-)
P.S. The film is excellent and timeless as well, with superb acting, amazing directing, and an amazing true story as the basis for the film.
