Free Music Review: V-DoE aka The Analyzer
Hit: 5 Stars

To give this album any less than a 4.5 would be an insult to the King (the original King of the South that is). The whole album is nothing but deep issues that are occuring everyday. This has got to be Face best album....next to Untouchable that is. Every track has a differnt message. You can literally listen to this whole album all they way through. If you've never listened to Scarface then you might not understand what he's preaching....but if you've been down since day one.....then you must have this album in your collection. Standout tracks includes #4 Guess Who's Back feat. Jay-Z, and Beanie Siegel, #5 On My Block, #7 What Can I Do feat. Kelly Price (beautiful song), #8 In Between Us feat. Nas, #9 Someday feat Faith Evans, #11 Heaven feat. Kelly Price (another beautiful track). Even the intro and outro are hard. So that's 8 tracks already out of 13. Nuff said!

Free Music Review: Scarface and Ludacris Is the King Of The South!!
Hit: 5 Stars

i agree scarface is very underrated and he should get more credit than he usually gets but yo, he is rich as hell. his albums may not sell as much or get much publicity but he is CEO of Def Jam South and he is the one who signed Ludacris to Def Jam, so its without a doubt Scarface definetely knows how to find talent and make money

Free Music Review: Scarface is Underrated!
Hit: 5 Stars

This is a great album, i actually didn't expect it to be this good, but great beats from the likes of Kanye West and Scarface's awesome flow make this underrated cd a classic. Scarface himself is also underrated, he is one of the best lyricist ever and has such a good flow, this dude can really rap. Some of my favorite tracks are On My Block, Guess Who's Back, and What Can I Do, and even the intro, outro sound pretty good. On My Block is what made me buy it, but before that all i knew about scarface was that he's a pretty good rapper, but i didn't know he was so deep lyrically. Anyways, on my block has got a very good piano-souled beat, not to mention the lyrics on the track. And this whole cd doesn't have one weak song, and that's one of the things i love about it. Every song has got a great beat, great rappers like nas, jay z help out too, and Scarface spits fire in all of his verses. Scarface should be considered one of the greatest rappers of all time, and in my book he is definitely up there.

Free Music Review: 4.5 stars 7th solo album for the South's Icon
Hit: 5 Stars

Scarface, the real King of the South, comes back after almost 2 years to bring yet another great album. On Def Jam, not his normal Rap-A-Lot, but you still get some very deep songs with his tales of hustling and gangsta life as well. Only 11 songs, normal for a Face album, 3 songs have guest rappers, and 3 more have guests on the hook. It has 2 classics, 1 near classic, 2 ok songs, with the other 6 being strong cuts. Production is great, handled by Kanye West (3 songs), T-Mix (2 songs), and Tony Pizzaro, Neptunes, Face & Mike Dean, Nottz, Nasheim Myrick, and China Black all do 1 song. As with all his albums, all fans of real hip-hop should have them.

Face dropped nothing but bombs on every track on this record. The beats were dope and the lyrics and hooks fit perfectly with almost every track. Face got another definite classic under his belt!
