The album starts with a deep rumble ( Get your self a couple of 12s and a decent amp } then tempos up to a baby crying (Him) and just rocks!!! from there on. Between Scarface, Erick Sermon and Korupt they rock this album. If you don,t mind the harsh language and the gratuitous mentions of "Thug Life" I believe you will not only enjoy this record ;but, cherish it. After "The Conspiracy Theory" the album drops off in lieu of filler music. Although, by the time it gets to track No.9..... it wont matter. Like Mr. Scarface says " Lets take it to the ring Ole Ho Ass Ni%#@ ! Come On !!!! Buy this ....it is well worth it!!Free Music Review: Scarface's magnum opus

Dont get me wrong. I like the Fix but this album was seriouly overlooked. The album starts off with Last Of A Dying Breed as Scarface tells a story of how his mother copped with giving birth to him. Look In Me In My Eyes follows. They Down With Us is that vintage southern collabo with UGK as all three ripped over the old Krs-One sample. Sorry For What is more vivid storytelling with a purpose. Gangsta S*** and Watch Ya Step are two more hard edged highlights. Jay-z shows up on the superb Get Out. Devin The Dude and Too Short show up on the raunchy In & Out. And Yo which features Redman and Young Noble(why didnt they metion him in the credits?) is another hip hop gem as all three kill it. The only track I thought was weak was OG To Me(feat Dogg Pound and Jayo Felony). Scarface verse on that track was hot though. Bottom Line: Scarface's Last Of A Dying Breed is his best work to date. The production was great, Scarface's rhymes were on point and the guest spots were dope too(except for The Dogg Pound and Jayo Felony). Its a pity that this album is highly overlooked. Standout tracks: LAST OF A DYING BREED, LOOK ME IN MY EYES, THEY DOWN WITH US, SORRY FOR WHAT, THE GANGSTA S--T, CONSPIRACY THEORY, WATCH YA STEP, GET OUT, IN&OUT, AND YO and IN MY TIME. This is how it goes: #1 = Diary. #2 = This one. Last of a Dying Breed folks. Everyone else will tell you that Mr. Scarface is Back or The World is Yours is #2, but they're wrong. #3 = The Fix. #4 = Mr. Scarface is Back. Take this from the realest, in this order. FaCE is the man. Follow this sequence and you will not be disappointed. Damn I love thise CD, if only for the two tracks 7 and 8, the first featuring Daz and Kurupt, and #8 is just the hardest Scarface song ever.
