I really enjoyed this collection oh symphonies. Obviously Schumann is not exactly the greatest composer of symphonies that comes to anyone's mind, but the four he did write are melodius, and to some extent fun even. I found the third symphony, which is my favorite, to be particulalrly well played in this recording, though the other three are well worth listening to. Given the reasonable price tag on this set, and the high quality of both the sound, and the actual music, it has been a worthwhile investment.
