Scorpions could have done a real interesting unplugged album but they sure kept things on the safe side. Even if they do "The zoo", "Catch your train" and "Rock you like a hurricane", the chosen material is mostly ballads. And the thing is that it's not exciting to hear versions that are so close to the original. Of the mentioned rock tunes, "Catch your train" is the only one that works, "Rock you like a hurricane" and "The zoo" is rather boring. What might be a treat is that Scorpions play a couple of covers (like Kansas' "Dust in the wind" and Queen's "Love of my life") but the original versions are a whole lot better. This album is only for those who are really into Scorpions.Free Music Review: The Best album

I have to be honest, but I just heard the Acoustica the platinum edition and the DVD. I haven't really bought this but I heard EVERY single song on acoustica so I would know how the songs are. They left out a new song called Back to You that is ONLY on the DVD. So I know what the songs sound like, and I think it's the best performance and sound ever!! Know what? This simply shows how the legendary band still can rock hard. Even though they are at their late 40s and 50s they can still create the unique Scorpions amazing moments, also this shows that the Scorpions love to play live. Their live recordings are almost as great as their studio recordings.... the changed version of Holiday is as amazing as the original one... and the Queen's Love Of My Life has never sounded better. Klaus Meine's vocal is the key part in this acoustic album.Free Music Review: The ROLLS ROYCE OF METAL

Hey, it's a bit pricey, but reasonable I suppose for an Import. The ONLY thing about it that I think could have been better is the cover art work -- it resembles "Black Out" too much. Aside from that, if it bears the SCORPIONS name, it's worth having (several copies) of. :)~
