Free Music Notes for Humanity Hour 1

Free Music Review: Amazing
Hit: 5 Stars

Great lyrics, melodies, and overall theme. My favorite of there recent (last decade albums). I have seen the Scorps 7 times live (BEST live band I've ever seen), even met them in 1984 at Caesars Palace by chance after they played in Las Vegas (Love at First Sting Tour), great group of guys, totally down to earth..Clause was actually a little timid and shy and quite dimunitive..but what a voice. The Ballads on this album are very good...Hour 1, Humanity and 321 cool songs too, all the songs are good start to finish....I'm not quite sure why this band is not given there props here in the states..they have been very good for very long time.....they blow the stones of the stage.....where is Guns and Roses, Motley Crew, Def Leapard, Priest, Ozzy, Van Halen, etc, etc, etc? None have had the longevity of the Scorps.....Oh and by the way...Always Somewhere is one of the best ballads ever and gets no talk.....My opinion....best rock band of all time..hands down

Free Music Review: Scorpions still rock with the best of them...
Hit: 5 Stars

The Scorpions album Humanity Hour 1 simply delivers on all accounts; and it may be, just maybe, their best ever. Now, the band has been around for a long time so it's pretty difficult to say one album is THE BEST, but this is right at the top of the list. The album has a "concept" that runs through it thanks to Desmond Child who works his usual magic in helping a band make some great music. The overall sound of the album is updated while maintaining everything that's great about the Scorps. The songs are typical Scorpions and range from rockers to ballads and are delivered with power from the start, Hour 1 is a crunching opener. Other highlights include: The Game Of Life, You're Lovin' Me To Death, 321, Love Will Keep Us Alive, Your Last Song, Love Is War and The Cross.

Fans of the Scorpions need to get this album and anyone wishing for the days of great riff filled rock will love it as well. Definitely one of the year's best albums.

Free Music Review: they did it again...
Hit: 5 Stars

...well after 3 years from their last effort, finally they did it again, this is a masterpice, for fans and not so fans, their sound is there but somehow updated!

this is a concept album in the sense of dealing with certain topic: Human kind, is not a concept album in the vein of telling a whole story and all songs are related one to another, this is about de decadence of the human being and why we seem to just not care about it at all.

Great songs, this is a must have for any hard-rock fan, the veteran rockers prove that their still are in top of the game, they still got it and remain strong. Klaus voice reached another level, a better level than in unbrekable, it is just amazing how this guy rocks! .......as another reviewer said, go and make yourself a faver, GRAB THIS ONE!

PS. They never left, so this is not a "comeback" like many dj's or sites are saying!!

Free Music Review: Back like a Hurricane
Hit: 5 Stars

This CD just rocks from the first song to the last. I was kinda wondering what they were doing with themselves. I've seen them live a few years back and they didn't play anything past Alien Nation. This shows the return of one pioneering metal band from the 80's. I thought they lost their way down the commercial road, but they found themselves back on the right path. The whole CD is just amazing. When I saw that they were releasing anothe album, I just thought, "great, what kind of disappointment can they do now?" From the first listen, I thought "OK, it's the opener, it's gotta be a killer." Then I heard the next song and then the whole CD. I was blown away. This is a rocking CD. I am very pleased to own it, I recommend that you own it to. This is the album that should have been released after Alien Nation. It has the same vibe and lyrical content. This is killer with no filler. OWN IT!!!

Free Music Review: A second straight solid album from the German rockers
Hit: 5 Stars

The Scorpions' latest release "Humanity: Hour I" is a collection of thoughtful rock anthems that revolve around the theme that mankind as a whole is losing its' humanity and needs to reclaim it. The Scorpions are not the first band to have a somber, "the end is near" mood encompass an entire album (see Ozzy Osbourne's "Ultimate Sin") but they do a good job of putting together some good, nice-to-listen-to, songs while at the same making the listener stop and think for a bit.

What's encouraging here from a musical perspective is that the Scorpions have now released a second solid studio album in a row (following "Unbreakable") and do not appear to look like an aging band whose act is tiring out. On the contrary, it looks like they got a lot more rockin' to do. And for us Scorpions fans, that is, indeed, good news.
