This is the best Scorpions Album since Love Drive. I have been listening to the Scorps since they were "THE" underground band when I was in high school. So I go back to Virgin Killers and before. This Album is GREAT. To those talking about the Scorps losing their "sting" you can't expect 55 + year olds to write an album of anger like their old stuff. This album shows a mature group of successful musicians doing what they do best. That is writing songs with great melody and believe me, when they need to get heavy they do. I cannot stop listening to this opus. One song is catchier than the next. Klaus sounds unreal and Mathias lets it rip when he needs too..... Buy this CD as you will not be sorry.... ALBUM OF THE YEAR HANDS DOWN...... Desmond Child is a RICH Man for a reason..... The songs, playing and production are all top shelf.Free Music Review: Ooops, they did it again...

...well after 3 years from their last effort, finally they did it again, this is a masterpice, for fans and not so fans, their sound is there but somehow updated!
this is a concept album in the sense of dealing with certain topic: Human kind, is not a concept album in the vein of telling a whole story and all songs are related one to another, this is about de decadence of the human being and why we seem to just not care about it at all.
Great songs, this is a must have for any hard-rock fan, the veteran rockers prove that their still are in top of the game, they still got it and remain strong. Klaus voice reached another level, a better level than in unbrekable, it is just amazing how this guy rocks! .......as another reviewer said, go and make yourself a faver, GRAB THIS ONE!

Scorpions really hit the nail on the head with Humanity: Hour I. I have listened to this album all the way through hundreds of times and it never gets old! Every song is superbly crafted and the lyrical content is brilliant! I really dig the concept of humanity being taken over by the very things it created, but I also feel that the songs don't push that concept very hard. You aren't going to hear a play by play of the story. The songs are strong and deeply intuitive and are very moving. This album is my favorite album of all time and it is one of the only albums I can listen to over and over and over again, every song! My favorites are "Loving Me to Death," "We Were Born to Fly," and "Love Will Keep Us Alive." Get this album because it will be the best musical investment you will ever make!Free Music Review: Back In Style

Finally! A group from my youth has the guts to just do their thing and release the music they became famous for. No big changes here. No need to "fit in" with whatever the latest musical fad is. You wont find any "screamo" or "hybrid hip hop" here. Its Scorpions through and through and I listen to this CD almost daily. The entire album is great and one that I can sit through without getting impatient and flipping to a song I want to hear more.
I think 80s metal fans around the world are starving to hear all their favorite bands playing music in the style that made them all the metal gods we saw them as. The Scorps deliver with Humanity Hour 1.
Its all solid classic Scorpions and worth every penny. Keep rockin fellas!
Free Music Review: Best Scorpions album since Love at First Sting. Really!

This album rocks! The Scorpions have put a solid effort into this album. The production, the sound, tone of the guitars as well as the guitar playing is outstanding. Hour 1 and 321 are excellent tracks. It reminded me of their earlier work which brought them to superstardom in the early 80's. This does not mean that the songs are dated or anything. They have the Scorpions sound and feel, but mature. The funny thing is, we have twin daughters 2.5 years old. I put on 321 and then asked them if they wanted to ROCK? We had 5 encores of 321. My wife thinks the Scorpions are soooo 80's, but thought the album was very well made. Anyway I would recommend this album to anyone who wants to own a great rock album.
