Free Music Notes for Humanity Hour 1Free Music Review: Buy this! Hit: 5 Stars
More people need to buy this album. This CD contains some of the Scorpions finest pieces. I'm an avid fan of hard/melodic rock bands that were larger than life in the 80s. I would probably have bought this CD no matter what. I was pleasantly surprised however at the quality of this album. It is very solid from the start to the finish. The heavy is even more heavy than the Scorpions usually get and the melodies are addicting and enlightning. I believe this recording has done quite decent in other countries. More people in America that enjoy melodic hard rock need to purchase this. Kudos to the Scorpions.
Free Music Review: Scorpions make another classic!! Hit: 5 Stars
From the very first drum beat and guitar crunch on the first song Hour 1 to the very last vocal on the las song, Humanity, the Scorpions bring the house down with an incredible album.
This isn't just a good disc, it is a must. Many others have broken down the the concept of the album, so I'll just back up the consensus that this album is a must own for any rocker.
The production is crisp and clear and just superb. Guitar solos are sizzling and the flow of the album is great.
I honestly can't say enough good things about Humanity - Hour 1!
Free Music Review: Not Disappointed Hit: 5 Stars
take the 'sound' of Savage Amusement and Crazy World - the musical tightness, if that is what I mean, how it was more like music and not just head bangin screaming guitars with mindless repetitions... then add intelligent lyrics... Throw in that awesome, classic, Schenker/Jabs can't-help-but-do-your-air-guitar-impersonation lead guitar... then figure in how Klaus' english has improved to perfection and that there (I think) are others doing background vocals instead of just him... this is it. smooth, tight, musical... intelligent. Mature heavy metal. lol.
Free Music Review: Scorps score...Again! Hit: 5 Stars
Gotta love the Scorpions! I just love their sense of melodic composition! Some people have said that this recording is heavy on the ballad side, but I don't care. It still rocks! Several songs have a rockin' jilt and the softer songs still have the stingin' guitar work by the duo of Jabs and Schenker. It doesn't matter to me what they put out, they still rock and are growing young gracefully. I've grown with them and this effort is just plain addictive! I listen to it everyday and the melodies are very hummmmm able. Keep it up guys!
Free Music Review: The Scorpions Are Back! Hit: 5 Stars
After several lackluster albums in the 1990's, The Scorpions returned with 2004's "Unbreakable" (which you should also buy). This album here not only met my expectations but far exceded them. Even my best friend, a long time Scorpions fan, had grown jaded by their 90's output. But, when I bought this for him for his birthday in 2007, he was pleasantly suprised and became a fan again. The title track is one of the best all around rock songs ever recorded and should be on everyone's MP3 player. Its on mine and should be on yours.
