Free Music Review: Amazing CD!!!!
Hit: 5 Stars

I can highly recommend this CD to everyone. It is an amazing mix of ballads and more upbeat songs that plays wonderfully in the background at dinner time and at partys or just for you when you enjoy a relaxing evening at home. This is a CD that gets better and better, the more you listen to it. I have to confess that when I listend to it the very first time, I wasn't that impressed but the more I played the CD the better it got. But this is what makes great music, listening to pieces without getting tired of it. I love this CD and I am sure that you won't regret this purchase. WEll Done, Seal ;-))) I am a big fan ;-)

Free Music Review: Good
Hit: 4 Stars

In rating this album, I was between 3 - 4 stars. It isn't a 3 star album because it does have some great songs on it, yet it barely (for me at least) scores a perfect 4 star rating. This album is a good album, though it isn't the strongest I've ever heard. The first half is stronger than the second half with hits I love such as "Get It Together", "Waiting for you", "Don't Make Me Wait", and "Let Me Roll". "Love's Divine" is OK, 3 stars but I think the above mentioned selections overshadow it. The rest of the songs are OK, not what I consider huge hits, but OK. I admire the fact that Seal, like Prince, Lenny Kravitz, and Alicia Keys does help/writes his own songs. Personally, I recommend this album. 3 1/2 stars I think is appropriate.

Free Music Review: i stand corrected!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hit: 3 Stars

i am 1 of seal henry samuels biggest admirers and i must admit i submitted my 1st review too hastily.i was expecting,as always, every song to be an equal to any on seal 1.on those terms i might have been accurate.after giving this a second listen to,i found 3 other songs(besides waiting for you and loves divine).dont make me wait, where theres gold and heavenly are very good/solid songs.i especially liked the jamaican groove that seal used to close out where theres gold.this is definitely a 3 1/2 borderline 4 star effort.seal is the type of artist(a term i seldom use)that truely defies categorization.he could be r&b,rock, balladeer and or pop meister.the fact that he cant be pigeonholed is what draws me to his music.out of his 4 releases i was able to put 35 of his songs onto 2 cds which i play relentlessly.seal is a true genius and i hope MTV keeps him off of their channels.mtv is only usefull for making fools of the ''regular joe/jane'',focring kids to stupidly wait outside of a building begging to see someone who could care less about them, damning kids into believing rap is a form of entertainment/music.the less an artist is seen on the mind numbing machine that is mtv the more credible they are.keep up the brilliance!!!!!!!!

Free Music Review: Can't Stop Listening
Hit: 5 Stars

After listening to one or two of Seal's songs, I decided to check out more of his music ... I've just been listening to this cd online, but I know that I'll buy it asap. I just can't seem to hear it enough!!! The chill groove is great, Seal's voice is smooth and warm, and every song has its own magic, making me want to listen to this cd over and over again. When trying to pick some of the best songs on this cd, I found myself having so much difficulty, bcuz they're all great. A few that do jump out at me though are Waiting For You, Love's Divine and Don't Make Me Wait ... Check out this cd as soon as you can, it's amazing.

Free Music Review: Music that fits the night like a glove
Hit: 4 Stars

OK, here's the situation: You're having your sweetheart over for a candlelight dinner and all your Bryan Ferry CD's are worn out. Not to fear: Seal is here!

This set of 12 sleek, suave, sensual songs finds Seal ready to assume the mantle of master purveyor of music to get lai - er, music to romance by. With his velvet voice and Trevor Horn's scintillating production, Seal continues to deliver music that fits the night like a glove.

Seal offers his trademark, genre-busting hybrid of R&B, dance, soft rock, and adult alternative. Though nothing here shines on the magnitude of "Crazy" or "Don't Cry", or even "Kiss from a Rose" or "Future Love Paradise," everything shimmers with quality. Highlights include the pulsating "My Vision," the atmospheric ballads "Love Divine" and "Touch," the reggae-flavored "Gold" and the funky "Let Me Roll." Seal's voice and Horn's production breathe life into some tracks that could have been filler on anyone else's record, such as the generic, Carole King-esque "Don't Make Me Wait". Inevitably (as with all Seal records) "Seal IV" eventually simmers down into adult contemporary territory; the last few songs are super-mellow. But by then, Seal's already done his job - the rest is up to you!
