What can I say? This is a tome of music stories for ALL time. I will be listening to this when I am 84!

Free Music Review: Making a statement
Hit: 4 Stars

It is good to see Seals and Croft's albums FINALLY being released on CD, it is looong overdue. This is a solid effort and was a minor hit when it was released in the early 1970's. Sales were probably hurt some by the strong, anti-abortion statement of the title song, which was a minor hit. It also includes another minor hit The King of Nothing. A nice album from one of the 1970's forgotten stars.

Free Music Review: Well Worth The Wait!!
Hit: 5 Stars

I have been waiting for this album to become available on CD for 22 years. 1986 was the year I bought my first CD player and the first CD I purchased was Dire Strait's "Brothers In Arms"...remember "I want my MTV?" Anyway, back when "Unborn Child" was released, I was a high school senior and like many others, I played guitar and sang in a rock band. After hearing this album for the first time, I knew we had to incorporate the opening tune "Windflowers" into our show. I pleaded with my younger sister to get up on stage and sing it with me. There is something about siblings singing together that they blend so wonderfully. Reference the Bee Gees if in doubt. This album has meant something to me ever since. I was (still am) a pro-choicer, but the argument that S & C give is really convincing without being so preachy. I can truly understand their side of the argument, I just happen to feel differently.

Along with the title cut and the afore-mentioned "Windflowers" is "Desert People", light and breezy and just jazzy enough to make it different. "Dance By The Light Of The Moon" is an all out rocker that my band used to use as a set closer. See if anyone leaves after you hit that E Major power chord!!

In my honest opinion, to make a "Best Of" compilation of Seals & Crofts, you would take this entire album, the entire "Diamond Girl" album, sprinkle in "Summer Breeze", "East of Ginger Trees", "I'll Play For You" and "Get Closer" and you have in your hands the essential tracks that made Seals & Crofts so friggin' special!!

Take my word on this....buy it, listen and enjoy!! A pitcher of margarita's or Bombay Saffire martinis wouldn't suck either!

Free Music Review: Seals & Crofts Fan
Hit: 4 Stars

ITunes may have millions of songs in their library, but they had only one album of Seals & Crofts available. I may buy music files these days for my Ipod, but I never regret buying an entire CD when nearly every song is as good as this. There is something so simple about Seals & Crofts music and message. If you love Seals & Crofts you will cherish this CD.

Free Music Review: A great album regardless....
Hit: 5 Stars

Unborn Child is a great album regardless of your political position. I've waited 30 years for this album and it is truly one of the best all time efforts by a great duo. It consistently flows from one song to the other creating an album that is great to listen to in it's entirety; enjoy...
