Let me 1st say, I pretty much hate what people call and refer to as "mixtapes" these days. Now, mixtapes are usually a sloppy and quickly put together album or a bunch of songs that didn't fit in with a concept/sound of another LP. (b-sides etc) Now, walking into this... my hopes were low, but I was sure Sean P would still freak it.
DOPE ISH!!!!!!!!!! Popped this in the deck and bumped this. I honestly didn't think I would EVER be bumping a mixtape as much as his other solo LPs. When listening to this project it's obvious that many of these tracks are left overs from what was supposed to be the "King Kong" LP and "Jesus Price Superstar." The rest are guest spots and snippets for his "Mike Tyson" LP and despite being a pseudo grab bag of tracks, this ish BANGS!!!
Do yourself a favor and cop this joint. It made a believer out of me and you can't front on the "Master P" cover art joke. HAHAH!!!
