I bought this shortly after it came out. The first time I listen to it I knew it was something very special. I read the critics reviews and I have determined they have just slipped a gear in their minds. This is a very intersting direction Seether is going. Shaun Morgan is a very unusual person. He has alot of demons he is fighting and his way to beat them was to write this. Seether is far from a "emo" or "cookie cutter" band so many people try to classify them as.
This cd has some real raw emotions on it and it is full of hate and anger. Maybe if other bands would step out and write what they feel they would have a following that Seether has.

With some problems lingering in the not so far past, I wondered if Seether's new cd would be as good as the older ones. After only one play, I realized it is as good as anything Seether has done. I should have appreciated the fact that they always give their all. And for anyone who hasn't seen them live, please do so. There is an energy at their shows that you won't experience from any other band. Seether is one of the most under-rated bands around. Their unique, low, churning music with Shaun Morgan's phenomenal voice make them addictive. I have to say my favorite song on the cd is "No Jesus Christ". Is it just me, or does anyone else notice the great guitar in this song being reminiscent of the one and only Black Sabbath!?!?! Great cd!Free Music Review: Different, but still rockin'

Many people are criticizing Seether's new album for being too commercial, that they sound nothing like in their previous two albums. Some people view change in a band as a band thing (why fix something that is not broken), while I think it is much needed.
If a band sounds exactly the same on every single CD they release, then what is the point of continuing to listen to their music? I love bands that are constantly changing, exploring their options and altering their music style. All three CDs that Seether has released have been so very different from one another, and I applaud them for it. It is easy for a band/singer to maintain the same feel to their songs, but it takes guts to contentiously change and take risks.

i have never been the biggest seether fan however i have enjoyed their singles. this is the first seether album that i have bought and i cant go anywhere without it, im addicted. this cd just keeps getting better with every listen even though i listen to it on the average once or twice everyday. and thats been every single day since it has been released. even though there are standout every single song is incredible. i cant wait for future albums because this cd has turned me into a huge seether fan. i strongly reccomend this cd. it is one of the best that i own, if not the best (and i buy at least 2 new cds every week). go out and get your copy now you definatley will not regret itFree Music Review: yummy

Shaun Morgan has such a great voice so smooth it so hits the right spot.Rise Above this kinda tears at you and I find myself playing it at least twice when listening to the cd I feel like I am peeking in on his emotions and what was lost.Fake It so very catchy but not sure it will hang with me for awhile.Breakdown I can not say enough I love it.Eyes Of The Devil another one you will find yourself listening to more than once.Hum here it goes FMLYHM ok i do really like this song but yikes his fav word is f--k I so hate that word but have to say it fit the song.Waste another treat to the soul.I bought the EXPLICIT version because I want to hear how it was supposed to be and I got it.
