Selena was from texas and her parents from mexico. She began singing when she was only seven years old, and sung up to 95. As Sel. grew older she sang more and more and began to make some albums. She was the center of att. everywhere. In the biginning of her career she only sang songs in English(only lang. she knew) and then her father taught her the Spanish lang., and how to sing in Spanish. She was a very talented and willing girl who would learn anything. One day a guitarist entered Sel's band to play the guitar. He was to die for, and soon after he joined, the two fell in love. The two were very anxious to get married, but Sel's father was not too happy about the marriage. The two were finally wed in secrecy, and her father learned to live with it. Sel at this point was the queen, she was at the top of the world. She even opened a beuty parlor. Unfortunatly a few years later she was killed by the woman who managed Sel's beauty parlor. This happened with no warning and her and her music were gone forever. This left all of her family devistated and sad. Now we only have her music to remember her by, and her music is wonderful. She sings a variety of songs, from slow to fast, and also from Spanish to English. Her music is fab, and I recomend it to all, she was a star! We luv you and miss you Sel -K
