Free Music Review: It gets the whole family singing and dancing

I bought this CD because my daughter was involved in a local production of Seussical The Musical. We play the CD all the time at home and in the car and the whole family dance and sing along to the songs. It gets you moving without realising it. It's a fantastic way to get to know some Dr Seuss stories and made me realise the importance of imagination in children, something that seems lacking nowadays. It's a beautiful story and sung wonderfully by all the performers. I highly recommend this CD.Free Music Review: Be ready to sing

OK, I have to admit I came upon this through a fluke. My daughter decided to try out for a part in this production locally this summer. We got the CD as a gift so she could learn the songs. That being said, aside from the fact that the kids did a great job here with the show, I play this CD even now that the show is done. The songs are so catchy, they'll stick in your head for days at a time. Be ready to wake up singing these catchy diddy's four days after the last time you listened to it.Free Music Review: Can I give it six stars?

I only hope there will be a revival of this show touring in a few years, so my three year old can see it! The musical was an incredible, electric, and freaky experience I'll remember forever.
As a lifelong devotee of the good doctor, I was thrilled when I read of Eric Idle taking on this project, and the music (Lynn Ahrens- of "Schoolhouse Rock" fame) is fabulous.
Now, when I read anything "Seussian" before bedtime, my son starts singing something from this cd. It's just great.

I am not really posting my opinion, itis 5 stars but. I want to hear from the person who quoted, '...Cameron Bowen sings on tracks 7 and 10. He is also the voice of Periwinkle on "Blue's Clues" and in "Blue's Big Musical", and is also on the CDs "Sugar Beats Car Tunes" and Broadway Kids Sing America".' Nice try, but Cameron does NOT sing on this album, Anthony Blair Hall does. Cameron's name appears NOWHERE on this album. The notion of setting Dr. Suess' wacky and sometimes profound verses to music is about as preposterous as making a musical out of TS Eliot's book of cats, but where there is genius, there is a way. My kids are totally absorbed by this musical which is a great thing because it isn't easy to get today's kids to listen to any decent music, and I find myself liking it too, it is ingenious in its conception, light hearted, catchy and tuneful, well performed, and above all, FUN!!
