This is a wonderful CD! My kids and I listen to this during Mardi Gras season, and we enjoy all the catchy tunes. "We" is an important distinction, because there is a lot kids' music that is incredibly annoying. Having lived away from NOLA for many years, this is a great way to introduce my childhood customs to my children. We especially enjoy Mike Artell's reading of "Petite Rouge." We have since bought both of Mr. Artell's children's books and they are some of our favorites.
