Shakespeare in Love, what else is their to say about the movie, but that it deserved picture and won. The score is equally great, it brings out the unspoken words in the film. This score did a wonferful job of bringing across the love of shakespeare and viola. it went form love at first sight to the final farewell. "The End" is one of the most moving pieces I have ever heard. It speaks of triumfe, sacrifice, and most of love that will never end, but only get stronger with every passing moment. Every cut helped to bring a tone and another character who speaks in silence, but helps the movie to inforce the feelings it most wants you to take away with you at the end of the film: love, and a bit with a dog as Henslowe would say! Most of all it convays romance beyond words and life.Free Music Review: Lovely!!!

The Shakespeare in Love soundtrack moves me just as the movie did; if you enjoyed the movie you will love the soundtrack. Listening takes me back to Romeo and Juliet and the all-too-human love of Will and Viola! If you haven't seen the movie, for shame; Gwyneth Paltrow's facial expressions during the production of Romeo and Juliet are well worth the price of admission. After you see the movie, stop and pick up the sparkling soundtrack. I promise you, you won't be disappointed.Free Music Review: Better than the movie!

The music is simply unforgettable. Admittingly, I fell asleep during the movie (which isn't a reflection on the movie, but rather on myself, I seem to have a tendency to get too comfortable on my couch at home), but the music just kept re-playing over and over in my head! I couldn't find the CD and my friend ended up purchasing it as a christmas gift. My favourite is the very first track. It's on the repeat function on my hi-fi at home. This is my favorite romantic movie, and the soundtrack delivers beautiful, soul-stirring classical music, taken from Stephen Warbeck's score. I love to listen to this album when relaxing and studying (or having a candlelit dinner). ;) If you are a classical music fan, or if you just want to relive the beauty of the motion picture "Shakespeare in Love", pop this CD into your player and get ready for your heart to be captured once again.Free Music Review: So Good!

This is such a great disc...I can listen to it from start to finish without having to skip any inbetween. I have never seen the movie but since I love classical music I decided to get the CD anyway and try it out...well I love it and I would tell anyone who like classical to get it and listen to it so they can see what I'm talking about when I say this ablum is GREAT!
