Shakira is hot...there ain't no other way to put it. "Laundry Service" was one of the best albums of 2001, and this limited edition re-release only adds to the fantasticness (if that's a word!) of the original version. The three remixes are top rate...my fav being the Afro-punk version of "Objection(Tango)", it a studio version of the arrangement that Shakira performs live...and child...cool me down. It is that good. The bonus DVD, is well, a bonus. The performance of "Objection" is hot, and the making the video segment is a nice touch. I would have just released all the videos off the album and maybe something about the tour too. But who am I?Free Music Review: Washed but will never be dried

hello. Emalea Greaves here. and this is my review. It's called "washed but never dried" because this is by far her greatest release ever. Normally I would have wanted her stick with Her original style (latin-american). But Shakira has done it this time. Shakira's washed and dried is "Laundry Service" with three bonus tracks and a bonus DVD. It is one of my favorite discoveries since the new Christina Aguilera CD.BTW: I wanna make a shout out to all my 5TH AND 6TH GRADE buds at SETTLER'S POINT ELEMENTARY:KRISTINA,ALEXIS M,ALEXIS C, ALEXIS B, ERIC D,ERICH W,MRS. OK I bought this 2 disc set on December 4, and I can't seem to stop listening to it! I love everything about it, the dance tunes, the rock songs, and even the slow ones (which I don't usually like). I was especially pleased that Ojos Asi from Donde Estan Los Ladrones was also on here, although it is translated into english. That is one of my favorite spanish/arabic songs that she has sung thus far. The remixes are hot, especially Objection which is a studio version of the VMA live performance included on the DVD. I know that my family and friends hate my ranting and raving but I really wish they had branched out with the DVD section and placed the Latin Grammy performance of Ojos Asi on it. Other than that little complaint I totally love this album. Been a fan forever and it's good to see it being loved in English. The MTV performance is great, a little different but worth it. That's Shakira though, you never know how her live performances are going to go, what she'll do. This is an great repackage of Shakira's Laundry Service cd. The bonus remixes of Whenever, Wherever, Underneath Your Clothes, and Objection (Tango) are awesome. This edition also contains a bonus DVD which has Shakira's 2002 MTV VMA performance and MTVs making of Objection (Tango) as well as the video. I really would like to have seen the videos for Whenever, Wherever, Underneath Your Clothes, and Te Dejo Madrid on the DVD. Overall I would definitly recommend this set, the bonus material is worth it.
