Free Music Notes for Woman in MeFree Music Review: Her Best Album! Hit: 5 Stars
In 1995, country music was changed forever. Shania became a star at age 27. Her fist big album "The Woman in Me" proves she can sing with the best of them. Her excellent voice along with strong feminine looks wins her over the hearts and minds of many people all over the world. Her Irish and French/Canadian background seems to really come through when she performs her music on stage. This is Shania's best CD in my mind. This is due to the fact that there are so many hits. I have the newer CD's including "UP!" and "Come On Over", but I keep going back to this one. To me, her voice seems a bit more honest and hardworking in "The Woman in Me". Singles such as "Any Man of Mine", "You Win My Love" and "Any Man of Mine" really stick out.
Free Music Review: The Reason I Love Shania Twain Hit: 5 Stars
I bought this CD used at Music Trader after listening to part of it in the store. It is sooo cool. I love all the songs, especially "Any Man Of Mine". That is my favorite Shania Twain song; I love that song cuz it's so sassy(it totally beats Come On Over's "Man! I Feel Like A Woman" in sassiness) and it's totally me. The whole CD is just plain fun. I since then have bought 'Beginnings' 'Shania Twain' and 'Come On Over', all of which I love and are a lit of fun as well. Each of her 4 CD's is very different in sound and style; all are in a class by themmselves. That's what I love about Shania Twain, the way he changes her style and tries something new each time she records. 'The Woman In Me' is what made me a Shania fan, it is great and so are the rest of her CD'S.
Free Music Review: A Spiritual Experience Hit: 5 Stars
Listening to this CD puts me in another state of consciousness: there's something sacred and peaceful about it. The recording, arrangements and musical execution are flawless and there's a good-feeling vibe throughout.(By contrast 'Come on Over' is , to me, almost unlistenable with Shania's voice in particular suffering from the treble overkill typical of a mass marketing pop hit strategy. The songs don't flow into each other and seem to be a collection of singles). The 'enhanced CD' version also has nicer packaging than the original release and has a nice video of God Bless the Child which goes for much longer than the abbreviated audio only version. Beautiful music and a wonderful timeless experience. Deserves a permanent place in your record collection.

Free Music Review: Excellent album! Hit: 5 Stars
Every single song on this album shows her rich, deep voice and stellar song writing. It covers everything from boot stomping songs to slow ballads. The only dissapointment was God Bless the Child. The back ground music was excellent and the back up vocals by her ex husband were impeccable. With eight singles released from the album show it's versatility and appeal to traditional country fans. Six of the songs made it onto her Greatest Hits album. This is a goodalbum with longer songs than you will find on Come On Over, but there are less of them. No On Needs to Know was featured on the soundtrack for Twister and Any Man of Mine was her first number one single. You will find many fun songs and some slow touching songs.
