Free Music Notes for Woman in MeFree Music Review: Her best to date. Hit: 5 Stars
This is my favourite to date, of Shania's albums. There's not one song that I don't like on it. Terrific music, lyrics, singing...everything. This is certainly more "country" sounding than her Come On Over album, which by the way, is also an excellent album to own. This album has it all...beautiful ballads and fun dance songs. Even if you are not a country lover, you're sure to enjoy this album. I honestly don't know too many people who say they don't like it. The booklet includes all lyrics, so you can sing along, plus a few photos of Shania. "God Bless the Child" was released in it's full version on an EP, which is great, if you can find it. I'm not sure if it's still available.
Free Music Review: Shania's best so far Hit: 5 Stars
This was Shania's second album and it's her best so far in my opinion. I also have her Come On Over album, but I like this album better. Just about all the songs are major hits and they are more catchy than the songs on Come On Over. It has many good songs such as "No One Needs To Know," "Who's Bed Have Your Boots Been Under," and the title track. The songs that weren't hits are also good. This album was the one that first put Shania on the map and on her road to superstardom. If you like country music at all, you should like this album. I know a few people who don't like country music that much that have bought this album and they like it. It's one of the best.
Free Music Review: Enjoyable from start to finish Hit: 5 Stars
Very few CD's come around that are jammed packed with hits. "The Woman In Me" is one of them. Every song on here is listenable, even the ones that never made radio are just as good as the hits. I can listen to this CD straight through. The ballads are great, the dance tracks are great. I don't know what she does but it works and it works well. I don't have "Come On Over" but I believe other reviewers when they say that this one is better because it would take a lot to match this album. I truly recommend this CD to everyone. This is not your typical country CD, it's very mainstream and accessible musically. I love it!
Free Music Review: THE BEST ALBUM OF SHANIA TWAIN!!! Hit: 5 Stars
Shania Twain did a great job on this album. I loved all the songs! It shows that she worked hard on this album unlike her "Come On Over" album. This is the only album I like of Shania Twain. It has some fun songs like "Whose Bed Has Your Boots Been Under","Any Man of Mine", "You Win My Love" and If Your Not in it For Love". And some more serious songs that people might be able to relate to like "Home Ain't Where his Heart Is" and Is There Life After Love". This album is worth every cent you put in it! I love this album!!!
Free Music Review: Another Classic Shania Twain Album Hit: 5 Stars
"The Woman In Me", Shania Twain's second album is an excellent album at that.
The big hit for this album for me is "(If You're Not In It For Love) I'm Outta Here!". It is a funky tune. "You Win My Love" and "Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under?" are closely equal second for me. Those songs really show off Twain's pure talent and golden voice. Her "God Bless the Child" (her authored version) is a beautiful acapella that engrosses you into the lyrics.
In all, this is yet another Shania Twain masterpiece.
