I have had this cd for a while and I must say it is classic Shania!! I have all three cds and although The Woman in Me is pure country, the songs are beautiful, well sung and well written. This cd shows how incredibly talented Shania is and gives her fans of all backgrounds a little bit of Shania inside. Any Man of Mine is one of my top favorites from all her cds, but each and everyone of the songs are wonderful. Definately buy this cd and you will not be disappointed. This could possibly be the best country album of all-time. It is a classic from start to finish with no filler. All of the songs come from the heart of this ... humble, talented woman. If you have ever liked a country song, try this album. It is perfection and has everything from the catchy, smart upbeat "Any Man Of Mine," "(If You're Not In It For Love) I'm Outta Here!," and "No One Needs To Know," to the beautiful, heart-felt ballads "The Woman In Me," "Is There Life After Love," and "Leaving Is The Only Way Out." "The Woman in Me" is what I call the "Cinderella" story of a release. Virtually ignored by the POP market, this CD features TRUE country that somehow managed to generate sales over 11 million (last I checked). With the follow-up selling around the same amount, you can only wonder how GOOD this CD REALLY is! Well, it's flawless! You won't find sugar-coated sellout tunes like "You're Still The One" but instead some great roots music which makes you wonder how this Canadian and her (ex?) rock-producer Mutt Lange could have come up with this!Free Music Review: The beat, rythym, and energy make this the best country!

I have to tell you that before Shania, I did not listen to country. I was much more of a rock fan. Shania has shown me the light! Her rythym, beat and energy make this the best album in rock or country. Her voice reminds me of Patsy Clein, Karen Carpenter, Glora Estephan and Carol King all in one. Whether I am working or on a stair master, the album fits every mood. If you are in the first stages of love with someone, this album provides the perfect back-drop to that first night of love making! Whew!
