Free Music Review: SHELIA E. THE GREAT!
Hit: 5 Stars

I want to start by saying that Sheila E. and Prince played a huge part in my childhood in the 80's. My mother played their albums back to back and I got use to Sheila E. very quick. Now that i'm in my 20's I now have the privilege in owning my very own Sheila E. album, in this case the album ''In Romance 1600'' and it's HOT AS EVA! A great album by the greatest, Ms. Sheila E. shows off her drum talent all ova this album. Sister Fate is catchy and will have you moving your feet throughout the whole song. Dear Michaelangelo is my 2nd fav song, it's so beautifully handled by her lyrics, and tells a romantic story 80's style! A Love Bizarre, my 3rd fav song, was the song that stood out in my memory as a child, I heard that song so many times in the mid 80's and I still love it. Toy Box...omggg, this was a ''lost'' song for me, I heard it in 1985 at a young age and never heard it again until now, I actually sheaded a lil' tear when I heard it on this album simply because of the memories it has attached to it, it's my 1st fav song. Skipping ahead to the song Romance 1600, this song is fast, wild, and demands you to dance. Thank God for Sheila E. and Prince for shaping the 80's into what it was and still is...a sharp, electric, fun loving Decade. Both artist's are the epidemy of three words...''The Ninteen Eighties.'' Enough said!
