Wildflower is a great CD. I have been listening to my new copy of it for the past 2 days and I really like these memorable tunes with mainly bittersweet lyrics and lovely instrumental arrangements. Sheryl Crow is a very fine American rock artist who has been around in the popular music scene since 1994's breakout album : Tuesday Night Music Club, but this collection is the best music I have heard from her so far. She wrote or co-wrote everything here, and also plays guitar, and her voice can be soft or loud, sweet or rocking , happy or sad - she is very versatile.
The title tune Wildflower is a lovely ballad that appears twice ( there is a gorgeous acoustic version as a bonus track on my copy of the album ) , while there are philosophical lyrics on Chances Are, and a catchy , somewhat upbeat track called Live It Up. Track 11 is a lovely one : Where Has All The Love Gone , while Perfect Lie is a good example of her tuneful and honest songcraft.
This CD is squarely in the rock/pop mainstream tradition and should appeal to a wide cross-section of music fans . You may find it discounted in CD shops ( like I did last week when I bought my copy for just 10 bucks ) as part of her back catalogue, as her new album Detours is now being promoted.
I really like this , and am giving it 4.5 stars

I was not a Sheryl Crow fan when her fist album came out. But she has grown so much with each album. This is my favorite so far. It's fantastic. I can't wait to hear her next one!Free Music Review: Absolutely Wonderful!

The first time I heard this CD I was blown away. Ordered 2 immediately. One for me and one for my best friend. She loves it and so do I. I think this is one of Sherly Crow's finest!!!!! Very soothing and moving!
