It's been a rough start for Sheryl in 2006, the break-up and fighting breast cancer, which she will come through with flying colors, thankfully she has a very good album out right now to get her through the rough times. "Wildflower", released in late 2005, continues on a path of great music by a great artist. The first single "Good Is Good" was another hit in a long line of hits for Ms. Crow, now there are currently two songs being promoted from "Wildflower" the country-sounding "I Know Why" and the very radio friendly "Always On Your Side" watch was just re-released as a duet with Sting, and already is a Top 40 adult hit, rising to #22. Sheryl Crow has had my attention from the onset from "Leaving Las Vegas" to the present, and she hasn't let me down yet. While "Wildflower" according to some critics' is not one of her better works, I find it to be in line with all of her work. Sheryl has been around on the music seen for about 15 years now, and I believe she has a lot more to show us. Like her music, in her own life she shines in whatever she takes on, and the fight for breast cancer will be no different. Sheryl will come through in the end, because she is a strong and willful person. My prayers go out to her and her family, and hope to get more from her in the very NEAR future. As for "Wildflower" the album is a winner and every song on the album is 100% Sheryl from start to finish. A++++++++. Nothing more to say.

Wildflower is one of those albums that just keeps growing and growing and growing until you finally admit that you love it. "Good is Good" is easily Sheryl's best song. The album is a pleasant change from Crow's previously kind of folk rock sound. Her music has been remarkably updated and the new style works great. I used to hate Sheryl Crow but this album has really changed my mind. Give it some time and you will learn to love Wildflower.
