As a jacksonville resident I have been following Shinedown in their path to fame for many years, I knew after hearing them at a concert prior to leave a whisper they were somthing special. Leave a Whisper did not dissapoint, providing a spectacular mix of power and ballad style rock, This softmore album provides a greater precentage of the power rock than the southern/ballad style, and it comes off very well, maybe not as spectacular as the first, but that is because its not a new band :) You can't expect a band to reinvent themselves every year, and they havn't, this album ties in very well with the first, if you truely liked the first album, odds are very good you will enjoy this one too :)
