Free Music Review: A great set at a great price, but skimpy liner notes.

This set is a remarkably economic collection of strong performances of the complete Shostakovich symphony oeuvre.
An important note is, however, that, despite some reviews that state otherwise, this set does not include much in the way of liner notes. I've sold a lot of this set as well as having it in my own collection, and in none of these sets has there been more than a small booklet.
