I saw the movie a few days ago, and bought the soundtrack immediately afterwards. All the songs from the movie are on the CD including a bar song "sung" by Captian Hook and a playful verison of Bonnie Tyler's "Holding Out for a Hero". As with the first CD, the song Donkey(Eddie Murphy) sings at the end is included, this time accompanied by Antonio Banderas(Puss in Boots) Livin' La Vida Loca! A great cd all together and lots of fun to bounce the car with and have neighbor cars looking at you like your insane. ^-^Free Music Review: Stand Alone

While not as good as the original Shrek album, this is good enough to stand out on its own. Counting Crows' "Accidentally in Love" makes the soundtrack worthwhile in itself, but extras like Puss and Donkey's rendition of "Livin' la Vida Loca" and Jennifer Saunders' "Holding Out for a Hero" are worth listening to! See the movie before buying this album, but definately worth the price! Four and a half stars!Free Music Review: Lots of fun!

We got this CD even before we saw the movie "Shrek 2." My kids - ages 3 and 6 - love this soundtrack and we listen to it constantly in the car. Their favorite tracks are "Livin La Vida Loca" and "Holding Out For A Hero." I personally enjoy "Accidentally In Love," "Funkytown" (which brings back memories of when I was a kid myself) and the other upbeat songs.This is a must have for those who enjoyed the movie. And unlike the first film's soundtrack, it is appropriate for all age groups and can be enjoyed by everyone in the family. Donkey and Puss In Boots rousing duet is a definite crowd pleaser. Highly recommended!

This music is great! Every time Ilisen to it , I star dancing. But the Shrek music is just begging. At the special feutures for the Shrek 2 DVD (On Video and DVD November 1st, 2004) all of the charecter are going to be singing, American Idol's Soimon is going to be there too. So if you like music that will make you kids dance like crasy, this is it.
