i really liked shrek 2 the film. i got the soundtrack because i liked the accidentally in love bit at the start. i like all the music now, especially fairy godmothers holding out for a hero and funky town. but i listen to ever fallen in love with my mum and the buzzcocks version is much better. and the cover of changes too is rubbish. why didnt they get the original songs instead. i love the film and i give the cd 4 stars. it would have 5 but for those 2 covers.Free Music Review: It's good

I bought this soundtrack shortly after I watched the DVD my boyfriend bought for me. When I was going through the "extras" on the DVD menu, there was a music section, explaining the creation of the songs, the artists and so forth. After awhile, I'd put the DVD in just to listen to the Music section of the movie. Now, I play the soundtrack so much at work, my coworkers have started yelling at me to turn it off. It's got such a great diversity of music, from disco, to rock, to a wonderful cover by Jennifer Saunders singing "Holding out for a Hero". I actually prefer her cover. And David Bowie's hit "Changes"...now that's a GREAT song!Free Music Review: Fun!

I might have purchased this just for Accidently in Love by the Counting Crows. Having the rest of the soundtrack is great. Every song is fun, especially if you can remember how it was linked to the movie. I usually don't like covers, but Boucher's cover of Changes was pretty good, and her treatment fit the movie better than Bowie's original. The rest of the songs are all fun too; maybe not great, but fun.Free Music Review: LOVE this soundtrack

My daughter LOVES this CD. Every time we get in the car, she asks to listen to it. My favorites are "Ever Fallen In Love", "Little Drop of Poison" and "As Lovers Go". I bought the CD after watching the movie and getting hooked on the songs. I like this one much better than the first movie.
