Free Music Notes for More ShineFree Music Review: Chill in bilingual bliss Hit: 4 StarsGreat sound. An eclectic mix of trip-hop, Portisheadish, bilingual feeling. For sure a must have for anyone into this kind of sound.
Free Music Review: Wonderful Album Hit: 5 StarsThis sophmore album is great. I love the eclectic mixture of culture and sound that Sise is known for.
I look forward for more to come.
Free Music Review: Amazing band... Hit: 5 StarsI recently saw Si Se for the first time at House of Blues in Hollywood. Their music is cross between Sade and Dido, but with a delicious twist. I bought the cd and was pleasantly surprised that almost every song is good. Can't wait to hear them on radio...
Free Music Review: who knew Hit: 5 Starsthey play The Truth on an episode of One Tree Hill and after listening to it I just knew I had to go and get the cd. The style is so very mellow and relaxed. It has that earthy jazz tone to it that just makes you feel calm but it has a nice up beat that makes you want to sing along. I would recommend picking up both cds, it's a new treat
Free Music Review: Gotta have it! Hit: 5 StarsI discovered this band on a Putamayo Latin mix with their song Bizcocho Amargo. I absolutely loved the lyrics and music, so I invested in their self-titled album, which has the same song along with a few other notables. Having bought their second album a few weeks ago, I have not listened to anything else! Carol C.'s voice is one of those beautiful ones that can do BOTH English and Spanish. Very few artists can do so as successfully as she does. The sound of their second album (More Shine) is so much more developed than the in the first. The mixes flow better and all musicians seem to have gained a certain confidence. (I love the viola! It gives every song a depth and hooks you in!) Am looking forward to their future albums and would love to see them perform!
