Free Music Notes for Lady CroissantFree Music Review: Somewhat disappointed Hit: 3 StarsHeard some of Sia's stuff from Zero 7 and decided to try this CD. Listened to it once and was somewhat irritated by the nasal lingering notes/moans.
Free Music Review: Best CD Hit: 5 StarsThis is her best CD. She is best singing live. Her voice is so beautiful and all the songs are wonderful. The crowd brings an engery to the music. IF you like Sis, then this is the CD you must have.
Free Music Review: Good - But Could be Better Hit: 2 StarsI think they could have picked a MUCH better selection of her live tunes than this. They're ok and maybe a must have for Sia/Zero 7 fans...but it doesn't really do her talent justice.
Free Music Review: Sia's voice is amazing! Hit: 5 StarsThe tracks on this CD are all live except the first track. Sia's voice cannot be compared to any contemporary artist. Each song is moving and chilling.
Free Music Review: sigh... why moderation is good Hit: 3 StarsOh boy... I wanted to love this one, but something about the live performance gave Ms. Furler free rein to make syllable taffy. The same drawn-out and blended vocal style that made the latter parts of 'Where I Belong' roll on Colour The Small One is taken to a sad extreme here, with no hint of e.g. the crisp staccato of 'Sunday' to moderate it. I still enjoy the album, but the slurred delivery on nearly every track gives me a twinge of disappointment for what could have been.
