This album is hauntingly wonderful from the first time it hits your ears, or stomach, or fingers or finds its way into your dreams, your car, or beneath your skin. If you gravitate toward artists such as Vashti Bunyan, Devendra, Joni Mitchell etc... you will probably dig it. The recordings emit this honesty and emotion I cannot describe. From love to suicide, Baier paints intimate portraits that spring to life with her guitar (she experiments with alt tunings and picking styles too). Not recorded for mass sales or a record deal, the album is simply fo' real and I recommend it to anyone who enjoys listening to an artist who throws all of their heart and being into their work. Did I mention her voice is beyond beautiful???

Product Description In a particularly dark and moody period of her young life, a friend of Sibylle's took her on a road trip to Strasbourg, and they ended up across the Alps in Genoa. Upon returning, Sibylle felt her spirits renewed and she wrote the song, "Remember The Day", grateful to be alive. Recorded in the early '70s, the songs on this CD are intimate portraits of life's sad and fragile beauty. A gem of an album.
