Metal is back!!!...Growing up in the 80's and listening to bands like Metallica, Testament, Exodus and Sepultura (true heavy metal)...is good to hear a band like Silent Civilian bring back the real meaning of metal. Pounding drums, crafty solos and awesome vocals (Jonny Santos is probably the best metal vocalist today) make Rebirth of the Temple the best metal release of 2006...By far!
UPDATE 1 (5/7/2006): I've been listening to this CD everyday since it came out last tuesday (5/2)...I stand with what I wrote above...THIS IS THE BEST METAL RELEASE OF 2006!!!
UPDATE 2 (5/29/2006): I finally saw SC live at The Gothic Theater in Englewood, CO (5/28/2006),and no surprise...
They blew away the other bands on the venue...Eyes of Fire, Bleed the Sky, God Forbid and Ill Nino...
Jonny Santos is unbelievable live...
No wonder Spineshank couldn't find a Lead Singer to replace Jonny. I don't think that anyone can match Jonny's amazing vocals chords.
And he he is a "cool" guy too...when I bought my SC t-shirt, Jonny was there to shake my hand, "Awesome".
Spineshank is not "the most awesome band"...
Silent Civilian is " THE MOST AWESOME BAND"...
Silent Civilian should have called their new CD..."REBIRTH OF METAL"
Silent Civilian is the best Metal band since Metallica...YOU MUST BUY THIS CD!!!!!!!!
