Free Music Notes for Sister Act 2: Back In The Habit - Songs From The Motion Picture Soundtrack

Free Music Review: dancin in the street with this cd!
Hit: 5 Stars

this CD is one of my favorites of all time! I love every single song on the album! "Joyful Joyful" is amazing with Lauryn Hill's solo. "Aint No mountain high enough" is a fun uptempo classic that gets you moving just like "the greatest medley ever told" which is just as the title says. Other stand outs include "oh happy day", "dancing in the street/get up off of that thing", and of course my favorite, and best track on the album "his eye is on the sparrow", it is very uplifting and lauryn and tanya's voices are truly blessed on this track! over all a top notch album!

Free Music Review: This is simply amazing!!!
Hit: 5 Stars

This Soundtrack is probably the best soundtrack that was ever published! In my opinion. The peak of this whole CD is surely the "Joyful Joyful" amazing performance, an arrangement made by one of "Take 6"'s singers. "His eye is on the sparrow" also demonstrates some great vocal work, especially on behalf of the a-m-a-z-i-n-g Lauryn Hill. In my opinion, this CD reflects one the peaks of her music, and gospel music as a whole, and music at all to me. This film was the one that entered me into the music business, and i thank them and this soundtrack for that! IT IS A MUST!!!

Free Music Review: If you like the soundtrack to the first movie....
Hit: 5 Stars

....then you won't feel any differently about this soundtrack album to the second installment in the Sister Act music archives. Unlike the soundtrack to the first movie, this one has no "classic songs" (actually, there are, but done by the cast); every song on this album is from 1993. You get a few hip-hop titles mixed in to the list. Check out the casts' rendition of Ain't No Mountain High Enough, and Aretha Franklin's A Deeper Love. There are some religious songs in here as well, such as Oh Happy Day, the poignant and inspiring His Eye is on the Sparrow. This makes a great companion to the movie.

Free Music Review: Sequel. Just as fun!
Hit: 5 Stars

So the movie wasn't as ambitious as the first but you can't blame them for trying. It was a decent movie. The soundtrack is great too. Dropped from the sequel soundtrack is the movies scoring but that's okay. There's some great songs on here. The "sisters" pay hommage to the Temptations with "Ball of Confusion" and do a decent job, albiet their campy style. The kids do a great job on they "Joy Medley". Highlight of the album.

The rest of the album is great too. Many songs are inspiring. A great companion to the original soundtrack.

Free Music Review: ONE OF THE BEST SOUNDTRACKS EVER
Hit: 5 Stars

Please everybody ignores Amazon's review of this album. I am 16 years old, and I was three years old when this movie and soundtrack came out. And at an early age this entire project(movie and soundtrack) gave me a love of music, which is why I like to sing now and introduced me to quality music and great classics, and not like the mess that we hear today. So for anybody who has contemplated bying this project, listen if everytime you watch the movie, you cant help to sing along with them, them you need to purchase this album. Because it will certainly bless you.
