yeah. Ignore Amazon.com's review. This album is not about Whoopi. So many different beautiful voices and boy do I love all of them.. OK, probably except the first medley one, which is, still, fun to sing-along. :)
Every song is so full and rich. I love this album so much that I needed to tell something against Amazon's review.

If there is one reason to buy this cd, it would have to be for this song. Lauryn Hill and Tanya Blout did a wonderful job on this song. It is such a gorgeous hymn and they really did a great job. Listening to the words is so refreshing and the song makes me cry just hearing it done by these two ladies. Wonderful cd!!!Free Music Review: This is an awsome CD

Honestly, this is the best gospel music on one CD i've ever heard. Christians and non-christians call listen to it...which is awsome...for some of my non-christian friends. For any lover of the good music this is an excellent album, every single song has a smell of perfect. You can hear songs by Lauren Hill or Aretha Franklin but also excellents songs by Whoopi Goldberg and the cast of the movie. Forget the "official" review. The "joyful, joyful" finale alone is worth the price of this soundtrack all by itself! It truly captures the joy that should ALWAYS be the centerpiece of the Christian life.
