The argument that this CD is a crime against non-religious people is completely unfounded. Music is one of the ultimate forms of spirituality (religion and spirituality are very different things).I am not Christian, nor do I follow any other organised religion, yet I love music. This CD has music. The songs are uplifting and cheerful. If music soothes your soul and enhances whatever faith to which you subcsribe, then get this CD and it's cousin Sister Act 2. It surpasses Christianity very much, because music touches everyone.

The movie Sister Act is just hilarious. Part of why this movie is so cool is the scenes where the Sisters sing. They really do a good job with their songs. Besides those numbers the album includes a few other catchy songs like Rescue Me and Just a Touch of Love. It also includes some of the musical score from the movie (be warned, one or two of these songs include dialogue from the film. I wasn't expecting this and it surprised me).
Over all it's good music from a good movie.

Any song you heard in the movie is here. The highlights of the CD are when the "sisters" sing. Great arrangements that will bring a smile to your face (courtesy of Marc Shaiman, the arranger).Great oldies on here. A nice surprise is Etta James singing about gravy! Of course, that's a metaphor but don't tell the "sisters" that.
If you loved the movie, you will definitely love the soundtrack.

This CD is going to make you pray! This kind of religion is wonderful! C&C Music Factory's hit single "Just a Touch of Love" is the song you can dance to! "My Guy (My God)" is so nice song and the best of all is "I Will Follow Him". Me, my sister and her best-friend are always listening to these songs and singing them. I love this! And I love Lord too, for this kind of album!
