Free Music Notes for Vivisect ViFree Music Review: Best Puppy Album Ever Hit: 5 Stars
I've been listening to SP religiously for about 10 years. I was born shortly before they started so I deserve a little bit of a break.
Anyways, I am a rabid fan, symbol tattoo and all.
My music tastes have changed over the years but this is one album I still regard as SP's best and one of the best albums I have ever owned of any genre (from classical to hip hop to punk to edm to industrial). I am not sure why I decided to review it today but there you have it.
This album has amazing music and amazing lyrical takes on vivisection, war, and so on. I can't see a reason why everyone should not try it at least once.
Free Music Review: The Definitive Skinny Puppy Record Of That Decade. Hit: 5 Stars
Each Decade has seen a different view from this extraordinary group of genious minds.
VIVI sect VI is this seminal band personified in the 80's. It is a perfect garden of noise. For a new fan I highly recommend starting here.
It never fails to astound me how their ideas culminated here.
Influental? Oh yes my friend. Oh yes!
Free Music Review: Corrosivly acidic and all the better for it Hit: 5 Stars
This album just spews venom and is possibly the most corrosive industrial album that could easily stand up with the industrial pioneers such as Cabaret Voltaire and Throbbing Gristle. Anybody who loves industrial music would be a fool not to get this album - it might take a while to get into but it's a certainly stood the test of time better than some records
Free Music Review: My First Tattoo Hit: 5 Stars
Was of the SP logo, just beacause of this album. I was HOOKED. I could not believe how intense the music was, how riveting it could be. It was teh only thing I would listen to for weeks, ahhh...the good old days. Seriously, if you have ever liked SP at all, well then BUY THIS CD! It helped convince me to follow the Too Dark Park tour a few months later.
Free Music Review: VIVISsect VI Hit: 5 Stars
I love this c.d. Skinny puppy is a great band and the earlier version of Testure sounds better than the new one, even though it does not have the bass solo.
