Free Music Review: Solid, entertaining music.

I thought this show had a great soundtrack while I was watching it, and the CD doesn't let you down. It contains many of the greatest songs from the show, complete with a fold out wall poster (same picture as the front of the CD case). The back of the poster contains the names/artists of all the songs accompanied by a re-cap of what episode the song was played in and what was going on in the scene while it was playing. (ex., Cassie wishes Sid would look up.) I LOVE that, as it helps fans of the show to reminisce on their favorite scenes while simultaneously enjoying the music that went along with it. Also includes "Wild World" sung by Sid, which is fantastic. Highly recommended in all.

Skins Poster

Bursting with Killer Tunes, Like Bloc Party's 'positive Tension' and Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs 'date with the Night' and Dripping with Heavy Beats Such as Roots Manuva 'witness the Fitness' and Tricky's 'hell around the Corner', the 19-track Album is a Fusion of Talent. Of Course the "Skins" Soundtrack Would Not Be Complete Without the Signature Tune, Gossip's 'standing in the Way of Control', with Its Thumping Drums and Catchy Hook. This Track Alone Sums Up Skins - Teens Living it Up and Having a Good Time. The Closing Track on the Album 'wild World' is also of Note as it is Sung by Cast Member Mike Bailey who Plays Lovelorn Sid, the Guy who Can't Lose his Virginity. The Song is a Cover of the Classic Cat Stevens Track, and Re-entered the Top 40 Earlier 2007 on the Back of it Being Sung on the Show.
