One of a few all-time favorite CDs ever. Had I bought it on vinyl back when, I would have probably worn out the 2 grooves ( is that really possible or just an urban myth anyway ? :-) )
Their respective solo-works have not left such a lasting impression on me. As an ensemble however, they absolutely shine.

I bought this album after hearing a song (Big Bug Shuffle) on a link & have to say that it is now one of my top 5 favorite CDs.
If you like great music, you can't go wrong here. Jerry, Edgar & Russ make an incredible trio. The only thing better would be if they got together to make more of it!

Having been a fan of Meyers' work for 10 years, it's a delight to hear this recording. If anyone who has not heard his 1987 CD "Dreams Of Flight", spare no expense - it's amazing. This is how I discovered Bella Fleck. The combination of cello and banjo is incredible.Free Music Review: incredible

This CD is for anyone, not for just that bluegrass crowd, these are three of the finest talents ever put together into one. I can never stop listening to this recording, because every single song is great. If you like this music, check out more of Jerry Douglas' stuff.
