Free Music Notes for Skip Hop & WobbleFree Music Review: brilliant Hit: 5 Stars
This is a fantastic album. Anyone who enjoyed the Telluride Sessions will love it. It is amazing the variety of feelings these three musicians can create, with rhythm that will have you tapping your feet for days (and no drumkit in sight).
Free Music Review: My current favorite CD Hit: 5 Stars
Listening to each musician individually is a treat. Together there's none better ... plus they sound like they're having so much fun. I agree with the earlier reviewer who wishes they'd get together again and record more.
Free Music Review: Spellbinding. Incredibly creative acoustic chemistry. Hit: 5 Stars
Jerry Douglas continues to show why he is considered the finest dobro player in the world. Teamed with Edgar Meyer and Russ Barenburg, it's like no acoustic music you've ever heard. This is NOT a bluegrass album....
Free Music Review: My all-time favorite New Acoustic disc Hit: 5 Stars
I cannot say enough wonderful things about "Skip Hop and Wobble." On a scale of one to five, it rates a twenty. Every single song on this CD is a masterpiece; I never get tired of hearing any of it.
Free Music Review: Pick of the litter Hit: 5 Stars
Douglas, Meyer and Barenberg are alchemists who turn bluegrass into gold. I'm sure I've worn grooves into my CD from constant playing, but those first few notes still give me chills.
