Free Music Review: So good I get goosebumps

I don't know how they keep doing it! Slayer is one of extremely few bands that has been making this kind of music for a very long time without ever wussing out or compromising. They haven't changed after nearly 30 years, yet somehow they manage to keep their music fresh and exciting, never stale or boring. Their sound and style are timeless... it never comes off dated. Not many bands can pull that off! In fact, I can't think of any others off the top of my head.
This is up there with my favorites, like Seasons in the Abyss and Reign in Blood. It's so aggressive and angry, yet beautiful at the same time. It has the chugging, oddly danceable, headbangable rhythms that we know and love, Tom Araya's trademark spooky growl/scream vocals, and the virtuosity of Kerry King and Jeff Hanneman. How 4 musicians can make the same kind of music for nearly 30 years and have it be consistently so totally awesome is beyond me, and I hope they never stop!
The lyrics are as good as the music. Kerry King is a very angry man, and I thank him for it! As I've mentioned in other reviews, I find Slayer's music therapeutic. The anger and aggression in it sucks my anger and aggression right out of me and leaves me smiling. This is the brutal, beautiful, fun music that I love, and it's already up there with my all-time favorite Slayer albums.
Standout tracks for me are... all of them! There is not a single skippable track on this CD, which is something else that is exceedingly rare to be able to say. It's relentless awesomeness from start to finish.
