Free Music Notes for DawnseekerFree Music Review: Nothing short of magical Hit: 5 Stars
Ever since i bought this CD it hasn't left my CD player. The songs are trully ethereal, some darker, some lighter, all with just crystal clear angelic voiced vocalists- many of them quite famous in this musical genre (Kirsty Hawkshaw, Harland & Kristy Thirsk from Delerium, Roberta Carter Harrison from ATB, and Jody Quine of Balligomingo fame). It's a beautiful album that i enjoy listening from beginning to end. Electronica, blended in with new age, blended with relaxing chill out pop tunes. All the songs have little stories to tell. All the performances are just stellar. If you like Balligomingo, Enigma, Sarah Brightman, Delerium or Conjure One then don't miss this CD.
Free Music Review: Dig it Hit: 5 Stars
Here's the deal. I personally like this album - been a favorite of mine since hearing the first few tracks over a year ago. I don't understand why a so-called musician has to slag another. If you don't like it - then YOU deal with it and move on. Didn't your mother teach you "if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all." I know my mother did.
And as for Jordon, Claudia & Art - why do you only have 1 review posted - like you have a personal vendetta or something to hide. Why don't you grow up too and show us your positive reviews on what YOU consider great music. Otherwise listen to MY MOTHER and be quite.
Free Music Review: Simply Amazing Hit: 5 Stars
Justin Elswick has made a masterpiece with "The Dawnseeker." This album brings together some of the most ethereal female vocalists set to hauntingly beautiful electronica. The album delivers the most alluring lyrics that accomplish nothing less than a stirring of emotions in the soul. "Eurydice" is extraordinarily gorgeous; it is a tale of undying love told by Jody Quine whose voice shames the angels. Kyoko Baertsoen gives her pure voice to an enchanting melody in "Just Say It." Each song is a stunning and unique accomplishment. Sleepthief's "The Dawnseeker" is a rare work of art that does not disappoint.
Free Music Review: ambient, lush and spellbinding Hit: 5 Stars
After first hearing his music a year and a half ago, I had been fidgeting in my seat, anxiously awaiting this album. Now, I can proudly say that it was sooo incredibly worth the wait. From the first confident downbeat to the final ethereal chord, "The Dawnseeker" is captivating. It is even a bigger delight when you slap on the headphones and listen to the intricate layering and gorgeous orchestrations behind all those mesmerising voices. A fantastic first effort and am very excited to hear more from Sleepthief. Conjure One, Delerium, Balligomingo, and Enya fans will not be disappointed!
Free Music Review: Love it! Hit: 5 Stars
This is one of my favorite albums. Often when I purchase an album, I find that I only like 3, maybe 4 of the songs on it, if I'm lucky. Definitely not the case here! I love every single song on The Dawnseeker. I honestly cannot choose which song my favorite because I like them all so much. Since the album is a collaboration of various artists, each contributing their unique voices and sounds, no two songs sound alike. I never grow tired of listening to the Dawnseeker. I can't say enough good things about the album. You just need to experience it yourself!
