Free Music Review: New to Slipknot

K, so I've heard many a Slipknot song and album over the years as most of my friends like them. But I never liked them enough to own any. Well, I heard Sulfer on the radio and really liked it so I snagged this Special Edition disk. Boy was I impressed!!! One of the greatest Metal CDs released this year. A couple of spots of rabid, directionless metal, but over all a well focused and implimented CD. If only all their stuff could be this great.
Keep in mind I am not an old fan, so hardcore fans of the band can ignore my review. But to anyone who loves Metal but don't really know of or care for Slipknot, this is a great CD to add to anyone's collection.
Free Music Review: Not All Hope Is Gone

When I had first heard of a new slipknot cd, i was super hyped. I have been listening to them from Mate.Feed.Kill.Repeat. (For those who do not know what that is, look is the f*@% up) There are only two tracks that I really did not like, one being the title track. The rest of the cd is a great musical trip with the nine. Then with the special edition you get bonus tracks, which is more then worth the few extra bucks. The remix tghey have on the cd makes a good song great.
Over all, picking up where they left off, they did a great job and this cd will be in my player till the next slipknot cd comes out. Maggot For Love. MMFCL
Free Music Review: Best since their self-titled

I was a huge fan of Slipknot's sound in their debut release. It was a relentless and pounding album with a wide emotional range. Iowa was a traditional sophomore slump CD. Vol 3 was better but lacked some of the aggression of their debut. This release finally shows the crew return to form. Guitars are aggressive and angry while still remaining expressive, percussion is pounding, and the vocals are, well I'll go ahead and say it, pretty much the best metal has to offer.
If you found yourself a Slipknot fan at any point in their career, you should enjoy this release, and I recommend it without reservation.

I for one think this is Slipknot's best record. It offers both the headbanging aspects of the band and also the more "Stone Sour" side of the band. I think a major fault in music fans is that we come to expect to much, and when the music is different or not what we expected we are instantly disappointed. We don't want to pen our minds to the broader side of music. In saying that I find "All Hope Is Gone" is a very well-made record. I don't care if it's been four years since "Vol. 3", I just want to enjoy the music, and I definitely enjoy listening to this album. "All Hope Is Gone" is a very solid record from SLipknot.Free Music Review: All hope is great!

Those that mock the validity of Slipknots supremacy in all forms of rock should now bow and bang their heads to Knots awesome new release "All hope is gone".
Some say it is too much like the individual side groups most of the band members have but they are missing the beauty found in the places the listener is taken to by all of the Band members experiences coming crashing together.
Heavy, hard, vocal beauty and terror all in one awesome package!
They deserve every accolade they receive and to those that do not like the release, well, give it to someone that really appreciates great ROCK!
