Slipknot really did it this time, this is a great solid effort. Yes it is true is not what we expected but that doesn't mean it's bad at all!!
They want to milk the cow and make gazillion dollars (which they probably will) with this album, singles & tour and we can't blame them for that, we're all working to get there. For me, this'll be their swan song and they'll be retiring with a very good note, at their peak, as it should always be.

I WAS VERY EXCITED WHEN THIS CD WAS COMING OUT AND WELL ID DIDN'T DISAPPOINT.I GAVE IT A 5STAR BUT I WOULD SAY 4 1/2STARS,SIMPLY CAUSE SOME SONGS SOUND STONE SOURISH WHOM I LIKE BUT THIS IS SLIPKNOT NOT STONE SOUR.IN MY OPINION IT'S ALMOST AS GOOD AS THERE FIRST ALBUM,WHICH IS DEFINITELY SICKER THAN SICK.BUT THE VERY FIRST SONG IS BY FAR MY FAVE.BUT ALL IN ALL I RECOMEND THIS ALBULM TO ANY SLIPKNOT FAN THAT LIKES SLIPKNOTFree Music Review: DO YOU WANT TO SEE UNMASKED SLIPKNOT ?

WELL.... its really amazing... my favorites : psicosocial and sulfer. For some strange reasons people says why jim and mick do a few guitar solos... ?
this album breaks all that stuff...solid riff...classical C tunnings and more ... DVD is just familiar and helps to understand the SLIPKNOT recording moments. IOWA is the place for doing this kind of electric dark music....

This cd/dvd set was more than I expected in terms experience. I have all their albums,I have seen Slipknot in concert 37x's,I have even met them and taken pictures with them!! Yes,I am a Maggot. But,I have never seen them actually record an album. The DVD in this set shown me the only thing I know I can't see in person. I recommend this set to anyone or any other Maggot. My first listen through, I was only sold on a few songs. But once I went back, I started to really get into the middle group of songs (even though the second track is still my fave). Really good metal, and probably one of the coolest bands to see live. Even if you're only a half-fan, I would see these guys live just to know what "Getting your money's worth" really means.
