Free Music Notes for Slumdog MillionaireFree Music Review: Solid Soundtrack Hit: 5 Stars
I usually do not buy Soundtrack CDs for movies I have seen, except for some of the muscial movies. But I did enjoy the music when I saw the movie and when the Oscars came around I decided to purchase this.
It is a very good Soundtrack and brings the energy and emotion of the movie back to me, which is what a good soundtrack will do.
Well done and well deserved of the awards that it won.
Free Music Review: Superb soundtrack - Rahman at top of his game Hit: 5 Stars
Enough great things have been written about this soundtrack on iTunes.
But I want to point out that "Aaj Ki Raat" is from another movie ("Don"), and music of that song was composed by Shankar-Ehsan-Loy (who recently performed "Miles from India" in SF), and not Sonu Nigam who is the singer. Also no mention of Lyricist. So only 3 stars for the way this soundtrack is sold.
Free Music Review: Completely different and fabulous Hit: 5 Stars
When I went to go see the movie I instantly wanted to buy the soundtrack. I bought it and the more I listen to it the more I fall in love with the music. It is completely different than what I am accustomed to. I want to go out and buy all of AR Rahman's work. My only complaint is I can't exactly sing along to any of the songs except Paper Planes since I do not know Hindi :)
Free Music Review: Another 'Slumdog' Victory! Hit: 5 Stars
A.R. Rhaman's score for "Slumdog Millionaire" is just as thrilling as the movie itself! And the Soundtrack captures it all!
The music sounds just as great coming from a CD player as it does following Jamal through the streets of Mumbai.
From the Oscar-winning "Jai Ho," to the hip-hop infused "Paper Planes," this is a Soundtrack for the ages!
Free Music Review: Excellent soundtrack to a must-see movie! Hit: 5 Stars
If you haven't seen the movie yet, go see it. If you have, you surely must have been drawn into the movie with the superb support of the electric soundtrack. Not since the movie "Once" have I been so enraptured by a movie and the characters on the screen. The music track for "Latika", the female lead, is entrancing music. Listen and be hooked!
