After seeing the movie, I had to get the soundtrack. AR Rahman and MIA have created new sounds that are uplifting as well as different from what I am used to hearing. Both the academy award nominated songs - Jai Ho and Saya are catchy tunes. But I liked Ringa Ringa the best. This is a great soundtrack! The songs are original and unique, and tell a story just like the movie. You can feel the emotion of the movie as you listen to the songs play. It's a great buy!! This album brings me back to the day I saw the movie in the Theater. The Music was so gripping that I can see the scenes in the movie they most relate too.
I believe the plot and the music together made this movie a True Oscar Winner and the CD enables me to recall that exciting time.
