Free Music Review: Good tunes from a great show... Hit: 4 Stars
You don't have to be a SMALLVILLE fan (which I am) to enjoy this CD full of diverse music from the show soundtrack. It's a solid compilation of various kinds of popular music (I especially liked Minnie Driver's take on "Hungry Heart"), although I don't know if the particular mix would make you favor it for heavy rotation in your stereo. You'll probably like some tracks much more than others...it's a real mixture, as opposed to having one consistent appeal throughout. But if you want to mix it up, you'll definitely enjoy it.
Free Music Review: Smallville Musical Wonders Hit: 4 Stars
The second volume of hits added to the Smallville soundtrack is quite a delight!
Whether you like the smooth rhythm of Depeche Mode rendering "Precious", the deeply romantic "You and Me" from Lifehouse, the bouncing fun of The All-American Rejects in "Dirty Little Secret" or the soulful "Hungry Heart" from Minnie Driver, this soundtrack has it all and more!
Don't miss it!
