For tracks that Billy Corgan thought were terrible (as you read in the little booklet), are some of the most excellent tracks I've ever heard from this band. I don't have time to explain my feelings for all these tracks, because I will go on forever so I won't. Just to make it short, I really deeply love tracks 1-10. Tracks 11-14, I'm now starting to appreciate.
Pisces Iscariot for me is probably the only cd out of my collection that I can listen to, and literally, never get tired of it.
The Smashing Pumpkins are the Best!!!

If you like Gish and Siamese Dream you'll love Pisces Iscariot. I honestly don't know how these got rejected. Pissant is a fast-paced punk style song unlike anything I've heard by them. Frail and Bedazzled, Plume, and Hello Kitty Kat are classic Pumpkins songs. Blew Away is a James I'ha song, but this one doesn't suck. The liner notes are cool too. They tell the stories of a lot of the songs' origins. I completely recommend this CD to anyone who longs for the Pumpkins early years to return(and I've heard they are for their next album).Free Music Review: Oddly enough, their best album (IMHO)

I love a lot of the Pumpkins music, but most of the metal stuff they do leaves me pretty cold. Some of their best slow, contemplative work is on here--Soothe, Whir, and the Landslide cover for example--and Blew Away is a terrific mid-tempo pop-rock song. Frail and Bedazzled is a great kick-ss rock song, up there with the Siamese Dream singles. My favorite tape is a Pumpkins mix I put together with some of these songs, a lot of the great non-metal Mellon Collie songs (1979, Stumbleine, etc.), and some of the Mellon Collie B-sides. Although this CD is supposed to be, I believe, a collection of "B" singles, it remains to be my favorite Pumpkins album. There is something about it that is about being sad, angry and in-love at the same time. You can hear the rawness of the recordings, as opposed to the more refined producing in their current releases. I used to listen to it as a release from the daily frustrations of life. This is the CD that made me a Pumpkins fan, and has kept me coming back for more.Free Music Review: It's my first Pumpkin's CD, and I LOVE IT!

I am fast rock kind of guy, but when I heard "Whir" and "La Dolly Vita" I changed my mind. "Frail And Bedazzled" is one of my meany favorites. And I must say that "Hello Kitty Kat" is also a great hit alobg with "Pissant."I am puzzled as to what the Pumpkins were thinking when they made "Spaced," a simple, yet wierd song. I'm not saying it's bad, but strange.
I must recomend this Album to any Pumpkins fan.
