I think this is a great CD. Being a B-sides and rarities collection CD, you'd probably expect the songs to be not so good. However, this is one of my favorite CDs from the Pumpkins. It has awesome hard rock songs like Pissant, Hello Kitty Kat, and Girl Named Sandoz (I think they do an awesome cover of the original version by the Animals). Also, their are peaceful, slower songs like Soothe and La Dolly Vita. Overall, it's an awesome CD and I highly recommend it.Free Music Review: As good as a real album

Despite the fact that they are b-sides these songs are really good and have all the qualities of classic smashing pumpkins songs. Landslide is a cover but probably one of the sweetest and most heartfelt songs the pumpkins have done and they've done quite a few of those. Starla is the obligatory 10 minute epic of this album and it is just as good as the other ones. If you aren't sure about picking this one up, take my word for it, you won't regret it.Free Music Review: a spiffy cd =)

i first got tis cd when i was 13. at first i did not like it...looking back now, i dont see how i ever thought that way. i wouldnt say this is the pumpkins best, but still, a great cd. i enjoyed the remake of "landslide" originally by fleetwood mac, they did not distroy the orginal song, nor did they change the feeling of it too much. "spaced" was kind of strange, but very ammusing in its own way.Free Music Review: A confirmed classic

The real test of any great rock album is how it sounds, 5, 10, or 30 years after its release. It has been over five full years since this one was released. After giving it a listen for the first time in over 2 years, I have to say that this one is still great. It has the same effect it had on me back in 1994, so it must be a great album. To think this is supposed to be a collection of b-sides! From the sad and depressing "SOOTHE" and my favourite "PLUME" to the rockin' "HELLO KITTY KAT" this album never lets go of your emotions and instead takes you on the best roller coaster of your life. Well done billy, most bands would dream of having their best work half as good as your b-side songs.
